(Submitted March 8, 2006 02:26:18 by Don) I've been riding since I was 9. I'm on my 27th bike now (92 Soft Tail Custom). My question is an odd one. I'm writing a book on how I smuggled a 1970 CB 350 Honda into South Korea when I taught English there in 1976. Fortunately, I only needed to break down the motor and back pack it through customs at Pusan. KIA Honda briefly made a CB 250 but stopped production. So I could get a body easily enough. My question is what does a CB 350 Honda engine weigh? Don
(Submitted February 27, 2006 04:20:43 by jack) Gidday have just found your site and would like someone to put me onto a rigid frame ext for a xs650. I currently have a honda DOHC 750 built around what I have bee told is a C$G frame. If there is a photo site I will post pic.

Lets here what people think about this site, not computurized non-sense spam. I love this site because it brings you back to how guys USED to do it in the hay day. Fabrication with your hands, that does'nt look like the so called choppers of today (cookie cutter bolt ons) These choppers here bring back memories of the way the men did their wrenching, without out a crowd. A Blast From The Past! AWESOME

(Submitted February 15, 2005 12:35:45 by Scott) Dude, I was surfing around chopper sites and found yours. When I went to check out your Fabrication area in your site, I came across your super-long springer chopper. I just wanted to tell you that is ONE SICK, BAD-ASS WEAPONS GRADE MOTHERFUCKER!! I was wondering, though, what rake angle did you use, and how does it handle at highway speeds? It looks really light in the front, so I was just curious. AWESOME work on the rest of your stuff, too! If I ever need anything, might look you guys up! Thx - Scott L.

(Submitted January 6, 2005 16:08:46 by Brian) Hi Tim, Thanks for the msg. You've got a nice bike there, and I can help you out a little by referring you to an excellent contact. My bike was raked, stretched, lowered and molded in the seventies or eighties in Illinois. I bought it last year and replaced the front end with the black springer and 21" minibrake wheel. All I had to do was carefully calculate the length required to make the bike sit level- considering also that the rockers connecting the forks to the wheel kick the wheel out further and lower the front somewhat, replace the neck cups and bearings, and bolt it on. The front end is from Chris at www.chopperenterprises.com in New England and prices start at only $650- instead of $1000-$1500 for a Paughco. Also, Chris has built quite a few bikes with wild rakes and was featured in The Horse magazine several times this year. He's the man to talk to about your requirements, he'll know what to do to get your project rolling. Also, check out The Horse online Back Talk forum at http://www.network54.com/Forum/13357 and send a picture of your bike and your inquiries, you might get responses from some of the best chopper builders in the USA. Happy New Year and good luck in your overseas posting- hope you can stay put in beautiful Italy for the duration. I'm also forwarding this correspondence to Chris at Chopper Enterprises- you won't get a better quality, better-looking springer for the money, plus the expert advise will help no doubt. Best Regards, Brian Renk Vancouver BC Canada

(Submitted October 17, 2004 10:02:29 by Larry) Just picked up an old Amen Savior frame. Be calling you to see how radical we can make it!
Just wanted to say, the web site is great! Enjoyed all the bikes, I'm a fan of anything custom. But I have to say that your '56 Triumph in THE HORSE, 11/04 really got me going!!!! That stock length girder really looks fine! The entire bike is 'super clean' but the front end REALLY sets it off! Been a Triumph fan for years...right now working on a '52 T100 with alloy engine in stock rigid frame...you're red '56 is a great incentive to GET BUSY!
Ya'll have bad ass choppers!! Our shop is in Dallas, Texas. It's very cool that ya'll are doing old school as well! Keep up the good work, it's kickass!! Dig your site. 63 trump h.t. the old shit on the old brit. Awesome sight guy's!(and girl's) It's refreshing to see there are still people out there who know what a "real" chopper should look like.I'm working on a '69 BSA chop that I found in a barn. Engine is almost done, frenched hardtail frame with 40 degrees rake, harley wideglide front end, original drag specialties king/queen seat...I'll send a pic when it's done. Ride on! Dave Baker. What's up Chopper Enterprises,

He's a Triumph dealer since 1962. Anyway, i'm just starting to build a chopper from a late 70s Yamaha xs650 and was wondering if you know of a company that makes bolt on or weld on hardtails. I have a nice springer front end to put on it as well. It's actually got square legs on it instead of round. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I can see you guys definately know what you're doing. Awesome stuff. Oh, great hot rod too! Thanks Kurt

I just chopped my first buike (though I ride a shovel that I bought new) I'm having a hard time finding parts for an old hexagon style oil bag I found in a junk pile. It's designed for a Brit bike with a place for a frame upright. I just about got this sporty project wrapped up. It's a rigid and I had to fab quite a few parts. I am having way too much fun with this thing.
